Chris Burton

Chris grew up in Southern California before moving to Provo, Utah, at 18 to study zoology at Brigham Young University. At 19, he paused his studies to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an experience that deepened his faith and commitment to service. Returning to Provo, a chance walk home from class one morning led to a conversation with a pretty Southern girl headed the same way. A spark turned into a date, then a romance, and Chris and his wife married in 2000.

Planning to return to California, Chris’s path changed when he founded Blue Mountain Insurance in Provo in 2003. The business flourished, as did his family. He and his wife welcomed a daughter, then triplets—two girls and a boy—and later twins—a boy and a girl, rooting them firmly in Utah.
